Buffalo Bills running back CJ Spiller has talked up the possibility of reuniting with Chan Gailey at the New York Jets next season.
The soon-to-be free agent welcomed the arrival of coach Rex Ryan earlier this week but he conceded that he would be tempted by working with Gailey in New York.
"There is that familiarity between me and him in that offense," Spiller told the New York Daily News.
"So that would be a perfect match. Who knows what can happen, but I'd be foolish not to have those guys on my list. I had my best years in the league with Chan. So it'd be dumb not to give it serious thought."
Spiller recorded 1,703 total yards with eight touchdowns and an NFL-best 6.0 yards per carry in his final season under Gailey.
