Christian Ponder ran in for a late touchdown to give the Minnesota Vikings a 10-6 lead over the Dallas Cowboys at half time in their NFL clash.
The Cowboys were the first to register on the scoreboard, doing so midway through the first quarter when Dan Bailey kicked a 41-yard field goal.
The Vikings were back level towards the end of the quarter, however, as Blair Walsh converted a 23-yard kick to complete a 60-yard drive.
The hosts edged ahead once more in the second period, and again it was the boot of Bailey that gave them the lead, this time courtesy of a 44-yard kick.
It was the Vikings who would take a lead into the break, however, as Ponder saw no free receivers in the end zone so took it upon himself to run over from six yards.
