Dallas Cowboys running backs coach Gary Brown has insisted that DeMarco Murray is one of the best players in the league in his position, despite doubts over his future at the club at the start of last season.
Brown said that Murray has so far only shown a small hint of what he is capable of, and is confident that the player can continue to improve in the 2014 season.
"He's just scratched the surface," Brown told the Cowboys' official website. "I think he's one of the better backs in the league - he just has to go out and prove it now.
"People now know his name, he's been in the Pro Bowl - people are going to know who he is. So now it's more of a challenge to go out and play well, and I think he's going to go out and take that challenge full force and have another good season."
Murray rushed for a career-high 1,121 yards for the Cowboys last season.
