Denver Broncos safety Mike Adams believes that New England Patriots wide receiver Julian Edelman doesn't have the "ability" of the man he replaced, Wes Welker.
Welker joined the Broncos in the off-season from the Patriots, while Edelman stepped into his role as the slot man for Bill Belichick's side and caught 105 passes for 1,056 yards along with six touchdowns.
Adams told reporters: "He's a one-speed guy. He doesn't have the same ability or the quickness that Wes has in the slot."
The Broncos and the Patriots face off in the AFC Championship game on Sunday.
