Champ Bailey not sure of status for Kansas City Chiefs game

Denver Broncos cornerback Champ Bailey admits that he does not know whether he will be able to play against the Kansas City Chiefs this weekend.

Champ Bailey has said that he does not know whether he will be able to play against the Kansas City Chiefs this weekend.

The Denver Broncos cornerback has missed the last three games after aggravating a foot injury, which also kept him out of the first five weeks of the campaign.

The 35-year-old told reporters: "I'm definitely not sure I'll play this week, but I just want to get some days in and try to feel it out and see where I am.

"I know when I feel good again I'm going to do everything I can to go out there. I try to play when I'm healthy and if I'm not try to do whatever I can to get back as soon as possible.

"That's how I'm going to approach it whether it's year two or year 15 like I am now. That's the only approach it takes to get back out there."

Bailey made eight tackles during his two appearances for the Broncos this season.
