The Cleveland Browns scored two second-quarter touchdowns to take a 17-7 lead into the halfway stage of their NFL match against the Detroit Lions this afternoon.
The visitors opened the scoring with 3:31 left in the first quarter when Matthew Stafford found Joseph Fauria in the end zone from a yard out.
Cleveland levelled things up again in the second quarter when Brandon Weeden threw a short pass to Chris Ogbonnaya, who was wide open and had an easy run into the end zone from close range.
Weeden picked up his second touchdown pass late in the half when he threw the ball to Greg Little in the end zone for a two-yard score.
Billy Cundiff then added a field goal for the hosts with just 11 seconds remaining of the half to give them a 10-point lead going into the half-time break.
