Reggie Bush: 'I need to run more aggressively'

Detroit Lions running back Reggie Bush says that he did not run aggressively enough during the team's loss to the Cincinnati Bengals last week.

Reggie Bush has said that he was not "aggressive" enough while running against the Cincinnati Bengals at the weekend.

The Detroit Lions running back had 20 carries during the 27-24 defeat last Sunday, rushing for 52 yards.

The 28-year-old told the team's website: "I definitely felt like after that game I could have run the ball better. I felt like there were some areas where I missed some holes. I wasn't running as aggressive.

"I have to correct that mistake. It starts with me first. I felt like there were some missed opportunities throughout that game that we just didn't connect on.

"We have our base package of runs that we like to use. You have to have your bread and butter plays, so to speak. We like to run the ball in between the tackles. Every now and then we'll mix up a few here and there."

Bush has 426 rushing yards, 305 receiving yards and three touchdowns in total this season.
