Dominic Raiola targets 15-season NFL career

Detroit Lions center Dominic Raiola hopes that he can continue to play for another two seasons in the NFL.

Dominic Raiola has said that he wants to play for at least two more seasons in the NFL.

The Detroit Lions center, who has just finished his 13th campaign in the league, signed a one-year contract extension with the NFC North side earlier this week.

The 35-year-old told the team's official website: "Not a lot of people can say they played 15 years, and that's a realistic goal for me, and I say that very humbly and without getting too far ahead of myself.

"I don't think anybody that's on an NFL team is a loser. It's got to change."

The Lions selected Raiola in the second round of the 2001 Draft.
