Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers has made progress in his recovery from a hamstring injury, according to coach Mike McCarthy.
Rodgers suffered the injury during the week eight loss to the New Orleans Saints, with his mobility visibly affected after tweaking his hamstring.
However, McCarthy told the media that his starting signal-caller "looked good" in practice on Monday and he expects him to play against the Chicago Bears on Sunday night.
"Aaron did everything today. He looked good. He went through the workout today," McCarthy said, ESPN reports.
Green Bay are currently 5-3 for the season so far but they trail divisional rivals the Detroit Lions, who top the NFC North.
