Green Bay Packers defensive tackle Letroy Guion has been arrested for possession of marijuana and a firearm.
The 27-year-old was found in his car last night with 357 grams of the drug, as well as a firearm and $190,028.81 (£124,18.80) in cash.
In a statement, the Packers said: "We are aware of a serious matter involving Letroy Guion. We have not yet spoken to Letroy and we will have no further comment."
Guion signed for Green Bay last season, and he made 32 tackles and 3.5 sacks in 2014 to help his team reach the NFC Championship game.
The former Minnesota Vikings player joined on a one-year deal.
