Green Bay Packers cornerback Jarrett Bush has stated his belief that recent signing Julius Peppers can be the player to transform the franchise into Super Bowl contenders in 2014.
Bush said that Peppers was one of the strongest and most athletic defensive players in the league, and combined with Clay Matthews on the other side the Packers would be hard to beat.
"I think JP, pound-for-pound, is one of the most athletic athletes in the league right now," he told the Green Bay Press Gazette.
"I think he's going to give teams a lot of trouble, especially with Clay, Nick Perry, Mike Neal and Mike Daniels. They can't just double Clay anymore, He's going to wreak havoc over there.
"He's definitely a force to be reckoned with. I think with Clay and the whole gang, I think we'll be a championship-calibre team."
The Packers finished with an 8–7–1 record last season.
