New England Patriots' Devin McCourty happy to play anywhere

New England Patriots defensive back Devin McCourty admits that he does not care where he plays for his side as long as he contributes to victories.

New England Patriots defensive back Devin McCourty has admitted that he does not mind where he plays as long as he contributes to victories.

The 25-year-old started his career at cornerback for the Patriots but last season switched to safety and has alternated between the two during his side's training camp.

He told reporters: "I like wherever they put me. It's a chance to help the team win, that's what it's all about, as many games as we can win.

"Right now, to be able to practice a couple of positions always helps. In the season, injuries happen, things happen, you never know, you can't take everyone you want into games.

"You never know [when you have] got to play musical chairs back there."

McCourty was drafted by the Patriots 27th overall in the 2010 draft.
