New England Patriots defensive back Devin McCourty has admitted that he does not mind where he plays as long as he contributes to victories.
The 25-year-old started his career at cornerback for the Patriots but last season switched to safety and has alternated between the two during his side's training camp.
He told reporters: "I like wherever they put me. It's a chance to help the team win, that's what it's all about, as many games as we can win.
"Right now, to be able to practice a couple of positions always helps. In the season, injuries happen, things happen, you never know, you can't take everyone you want into games.
"You never know [when you have] got to play musical chairs back there."
McCourty was drafted by the Patriots 27th overall in the 2010 draft.
