The New York Giants have completed a double swoop by signing defensive back Josh Gordy and linebacker Ryan Jones.
Gordy has joined from the Indianapolis Colts, where he spent three seasons following previous stints with the St Louis Rams and Green Bay Packers.
He was a part of the Packers team which won the Super Bowl in 2010, when they beat the Pittsburgh Steelers.
Meanwhile, Jones is still an NFL rookie after he was undrafted last year. The Baltimore Ravens picked him up soon after, but they released him one month later.
The Giants failed to make the playoffs last season after they finished with a 6-10 record.
