The Chicago Bears have confirmed that quarterback Jay Cutler is out of their clash with the Green Bay Packers.
Cutler sustained a groin injury during his side's defeat to the Washington Redskins two weeks ago and was forced to leave the game.
Head coach Marc Trestman revealed that he could be out for up to a month, but wide receiver Brandon Marshall and Cutler himself hoped that he would return sooner.
However, this is not the case and the Bears will be without one of their key players for their game against their divisional rivals.
Chicago will also be without linebacker Lance Briggs for the game.
