Oakland Raiders coach Dennis Allen has revealed that Terrelle Pryor will start their final pre-season match against the Seattle Seahawks at quarterback.
Pryor is yet to make a start in the current warm-up campaign but is thought to be pushing Matt Flynn for the starting quarterback jersey in the regular season.
Allen has admitted that he isn't yet sure who will begin the season as number one choice but has decided to give Pryor a try after the 24-year-old impressed during their last warm-up match.
"It's probably more of a precautionary measure on my part than it is anything else," Allen told the Associated Press.
"We'll get a chance to see Terrelle this week with the first-unit offence up against Seattle, and we'll see how he does."
The Raiders will begin their regular season at the Indianapolis Colts on September 8.
