Oregon Ducks quarterback Marcus Mariota has revealed that he will forgo the 2014 Draft and return to the University next year.
The 20-year-old was touted as one of the top prospects from across the United States ahead of the Draft following an excellent season at the Ducks, but will now stay for his junior year.
Mariota said in a statement released by Oregon: "It is an honour to be a student at the University of Oregon and to have the opportunity to represent our institution on the football field alongside my teammates.
"I look forward to earning my degree next year and to the rest of my career at this great University."
Mariota threw 30 touchdowns and passed for 3,412 yards in the 2013 season.
