San Francisco 49ers quarterback Colin Kaeapernick has heaped praise on running back Frank Gore, labelling the veteran as a 'true professional'.
Gore rushed for over 1,100 yards during the regular season, scoring nine touchdowns along the way, and has played a key role in helping the 49ers get to where they are, with the NFC championship game against the Seattle Seahawks coming up this Sunday.
Kaepernick was questioned on Gore during Wednesday's media session, following his two solid post-season performances so far.
The quarterback said: "He works so hard. He works at his craft, from before practice doing drills to being in meetings, going over protections, knowing where he wants to hit different holes and ultimately going out and performing.
"He really is a true professional."
Thirty-year-old Gore has been with the 49ers since being drafted by the franchise in 2005, being selected for the Pro Bowl on five separate occasions.
