San Francisco 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick has insisted that he is not worried about his ongoing contract negotiations with the team.
Kaepernick is due to enter the final year of his rookie deal in 2014 and is understood to be keen on signing a new contract before the start of the season.
However, the 26-year-old is happy to leave off-the-field matters to his agents in order to focus on improving his play on the pitch during the organised team activities.
"I'm letting my agents handle all of that. I'm out here trying to get better with my teammates. I'm playing football regardless," Kaepernick told reporters.
Niners head coach Jim Harbaugh recently backed his quarterback to have a "breakout year" in 2014.
