Marshawn Lynch has told his teammates that he will not be attending the Seattle Seahawks' pre-season training camp this year.
The running back is hoping that holding out of practices will force the Super Bowl champions to offer him a pay rise, according to NFL Media.
Fullback Michael Robinson told NFL Network: "Marshawn Lynch just called me, we just talked. He said he will be holding out from training camp this year with the Seahawks."
Lynch, who faces a $300,000 (£176,000) fine for each day that he misses, rushed for 1,257 yards and scored 12 touchdowns in 2013.
