Sports Mole brings you the Olympic weather report for all of today's events, including Great Britain's opening men's football match.

Welcome to Sports Mole's guide to the weather around the various Olympic venues today.

The men's football kicks off today, with Mexico and South Korea due to kickoff in Newcastle at 2.30pm, with the temperature expected to be around 17°. Similar weather is expected for the 5.15pm match between Gabon and Switzerland, also in St. James' Park.

Spain get their games underway against Japan in Hampden Park, with the forecast predicting temperatures of 18°.

There are also two games in Manchester today, with UAE taking on dark horses Uruguay and Breat Britain facing Senegal. Uruguay's fixture takes place at 5pm, with temperatures of 22° expected, while it should cool down to around 19° for GB's 8pm kickoff.

The hottest places for football in the UK today are Cardiff and Coventry. Cardiff hosts Brazil vs. Egypt at 7.45pm with the temperature still expected to be around 23°, while Belarus and New Zealand's match kicks off at the same time and is expected to be around 24°.
