Husband and former coach Gary Lough has called on the World Anti-Doping Agency to come out in support of Paula Radcliffe after she claimed that she was implicated in doping allegations.
Earlier this week, Radcliffe released a statement to "categorically" deny that she had ever cheated during her career after a parliamentary select committee had indicated that a former British winner of the London Marathon had previously provided suspicious blood tests.
Radcliffe has previously refused to release her blood data, but with the results in question now being leaked, Lough has insisted that WADA must act to bring closure to the situation.
Lough told BBC Radio 5 live: "I am probably not happy with how WADA have handled this situation.
"I think this is a special circumstance and want them to come out and say this case is under review and there is no case to answer. That would definitely help us - that would be the only outcome of the investigation."
The topic of doping within athletics has hit the headlines throughout 2015, while two athletes tested positive at the recent World Athletics Championships in Beijing.
