ParalympicsGB's David Devine has expressed his delight with his bronze medal in tonight's T13 1,500m final.
Devine, who only qualified for the final as a fastest loser, ran a personal best by six seconds to claim the bronze and has said that he is "made up" with the result.
"I'm absolutely made up, running under the original world record," he said. "I want to say congratulations to the Kenyan and the Tunisian who were better than me today. I'll come back and improve.
"Coach said to me if anything goes wrong just stay relaxed and I did and came away with a medal.
"I thought I could get a medal by hitting the front at the bell. If three would have got past me then well done."
Devine was one of only three in the field who ran under four minutes.
