Jessica Ennis-Hill makes herself available for selection for World Championships

Jessica Ennis-Hill confirms that she has made herself available for the selection for next month's World Championships in Beijing.

Great Britain's Olympic gold medallist Jessica Ennis-Hill has confirmed that she has made herself available for the World Championships in Beijing next month.

The 29-year-old had initially tussled with the decision as she only returned to action earlier this year following a two-year absence.

However, after producing three of her best performances since the London Olympics at the Anniversary Games, the heptathlon star has decided to put herself forward for the Worlds.

On Instagram, Ennis-Hill wrote: "My coach and I have made the decision that I'm going to make myself available for selection for the World Champs."

The Brit missed the Moscow Championships in 2013 due to injury.

My coach and I have made the decision that I'm going to make myself available for selection for the World Champs 😁
