Great Britain's Cindy Ofili has insisted that she will learn from her failure to reach the final of the women's 100m hurdles at the World Championships in Beijing.
The athlete raced in the first semi-final of the session at the Bird's Nest, and could only finish sixth in 12.91s.
"It wasn't my race today," Ofili told BBC Sport. "l wanted to make the final but I will take the experience, it has been a long season and is a big learning curve.
"I am just happy to be here, it is a blessing to compete against the best girls and be in front of this crowd."
Ofili's sister Tiffany Porter cruised into the final by winning the second semi-final.
