Chicago Bulls star Joakim Noah missed Friday's win over the Boston Celtics due to a sprained ankle and is expected to undergo an MRI scan.
Noah initially sprained the same ankle at the start of December and he is hopeful that he will not be forced to miss too much time having suffered worse injuries in the past.
"It's better. Just going to keep working at it every day and get my MRI. It is what it is. Keep pushing," Noah told reporters.
Despite not being active for Friday's game, Noah was assessed a technical foul from the bench in the third quarter in Boston.
