LeBron James has played down talk of him being in contention for a fifth NBA MVP award this season.
The Cleveland Cavaliers forward, who returned to the team after a stint with the Miami Heat for this campaign, scored a season-high 42 points in the team's win over the Golden State Warriors
He told ESPN: "That's not why I'm here. I've got to be the MVP for these guys, the 14 guys in the locker room. When I'm on the floor, I'll try to do everything I can to help this team win."
The Warriors' Stephen Curry is one of the current favourites for the annual honour, but managed just 18 during the clash.
