LeBron James has said that he found it "humbling" to pass former teammate Ray Allen on the NBA's all-time points scorers list.
The Cleveland Cavaliers forward made 27 in his side's 110-79 win over the Boston Celtics, lifting him up to 21st, just ahead of his former Miami Heat colleague.
The four-time league MVP told ESPN: "He's one of my best friends. He's a guy I competed against and grew up watching, and to be able to team with him the last two years when I was with Miami, I learned so much from him. To know I passed him, it's very humbling."
James has a career total of 24,508 points since entering the league in 2003.
