The Denver Nuggets are in talks with Mike D'Antoni over their vacant head coach position, according to reports.
The Colorado side sacked Brian Shaw back in March and placed Melvin Hunt in charge, but are reportedly keen for a more experienced head coach.
Yahoo! Sports reports that it is a shoot-out between D'Antoni and Hunt, and the 64-year-old has been formally interviewed in the last week.
D'Antoni was previously in charge of the Nuggets between 1998 and 1999, while he also had stints at the New York Knicks and Los Angeles Lakers.
