Andre Iguodala has admitted that his mind was racing when he made the shot which earned the Golden State Warriors a 116-115 victory over the Oklahoma City Thunder on Thursday night.
The 29-year-old found the net from 16 feet to beat the buzzer at the end of a dramatic evening and he concedes that it was a nervous moment.
"Those are the moments when your mind is just racing," said Iguodala, who finished with 14 points and nine assists. "When Klay [Thompson] threw the pass, I was thinking I could get to the basket. As soon as the ball hit my hands my feet were set just to catch, turn around and shoot, something I worked on a lot throughout my career.
"The situation was there and everything just worked out."
Iguodala scored 14 points and provided nine assists in the victory.
