Stephen Curry leads Warriors to victory over Kings

The teams set a new record, combining for 41 three-pointers.

Stephen Curry scored 42 points as the Golden State Warriors edged out the Sacramento Kings 127-123.

The point guard rallied in the fourth quarter to put 20 points on the board and finished with 10 three-pointers – five in the final quarter – while Kevin Durant provided the back-up with 29 points, nine assists and five rebounds.

The Kings produced a fine shooting display with 20 three-pointers and helped to set a new record as the teams combined for 41 threes, the most in a single game.

In Milwaukee, the Bucks fell 123-116 to the Toronto Raptors with both Kawhi Leonard and Pascal Siakam scoring 30 points.

The Bucks made a late charge in the fourth to grab a 96-95 lead but were held off by the Raptors to record their first loss in five games.

The Houston Rockets' six-game winning streak was brought to an end by the Portland Trail Blazers as James Harden fell shy of another 40-point game on 38.

Jusuf Nurkic scored 25 points with 15 rebounds, while CJ McCollum added 24 in the 110-101 victory.

Joel Embiid top-scored with 25 points for the Philadelphia 76ers as they overcame the Dallas Mavericks 106-100, while the Memphis Grizzlies slumped to their fifth loss in a row as the San Antonio Spurs triumphed 108-88.

The Utah Jazz clinched a comeback victory over the Detroit Pistons, emerging 108-88 winners, the Cleveland Cavaliers were defeated 133-98 by the New Orleans Pelicans for the ninth straight loss and the Denver Nuggets beat the Charlotte Hornets 123-110.
