Kevin McHale: 'We couldn't stop the Los Angeles Clippers'

Kevin McHale admits that the Houston Rockets were unable to stop the Los Angeles Clippers from enjoying success in every area of the court.

Houston Rockets coach Kevin McHale has admitted that his team were unable to prevent the Los Angeles Clippers from scoring in every area on Monday night during a 137-118 loss.

It was the highest score for the Clippers in a game since 2009 and their variation in attack was a problem for the Rockets, according to the visiting coach at the Staples Center.

"They had 15 3s and a ton of paint points, so they had the best of both worlds," McHale told reporters. "They just did whatever they wanted.

"We just couldn't stop them."

The Rockets had won their previous three games before last night's defeat.
