Los Angeles Clippers forward Blake Griffin took the blame for his side's 110-100 defeat to the Denver Nuggets on Monday night.
The Clippers, who saw their 11-game winning streak come to an end at the Pepsi Center, failed to score for over three minutes at the end of the fourth quarter as the Nuggets secured a surprise victory.
"This game is pretty much entirely on me," Griffin told reporters after making just seven of his 25 field goal attempts.
"I can't play that poorly for us to win.
"I tried. Just too many missed shots. Too many small error here and there."
Despite taking responsibility for the loss, Griffin was still able to score 26 points and claim 12 rebounds.
