Chris Paul sustained a shoulder separation during the Los Angeles Clippers' game against the Dallas Mavericks last night.
The point guard is expected to miss three to five weeks while recovering from the injury, but will undergo further examinations tomorrow to assess the level of damage.
Head coach Doc Rivers told reporters: "He's down. He's out at least three to five weeks and maybe more. We don't know that [yet]. We know it's a separated shoulder. We don't know what grade it is, yet. We'll probably send him home, and he'll get evaluated in LA, and just hope that's he's going to be okay."
The Clippers went on to win the game 119-112.
