Carmelo Anthony has met with the Los Angeles Lakers having opted out of the final year of his contract with the New York Knicks.
The forward, who has not ruled out a return to the Knicks, visited the team on Thursday, spending around three hours at the side's facility.
According to ESPN, the Lakers confirmed that they would offer Anthony a maximum four-year contract worth $95m (£55.4m) if he agreed to sign with them.
Anthony averaged 27.4 points per game in the 2013-14 NBA season.
