Miami Heat guard Dwyane Wade agrees to join ESPN on ABC's coverage of the upcoming NBA Finals.

Dwyane Wade has agreed to join ESPN on ABC's coverage of the upcoming NBA Finals as an analyst.

The Miami Heat guard is not playing in the Finals for the first time in five years, but will be present at some of the games between the Cleveland Cavaliers and Golden State Warriors.

The 33-year-old will be part of the coverage for games two and three of the best-of-seven series. He will also be present in games six and seven if they are required.

Wade is a three-time NBA champion, having won the Finals with the Heat in 2006, 2012 and 2013.

Game one of the Cavs-Warriors Finals tips off at 2am UK time this Friday.
