The Minnesota Timberwolves have agreed to a deal that sees forward Derrick Williams swapped in return for Sacramento Kings star Luc Mbah a Moute.
Williams was selected as the number two overall pick in 2011 but has struggled in Rick Adelman's system alongside Kevin Love.
"We are excited to acquire a solid veteran player in Luc Mbah a Moute," said Flip Saunders, Timberwolves President of Basketball Operations, according to CBS Sports.
"Luc is known as one of the premier defensive players in the league with an ability to guard multiple positions."
Meanwhile, Williams will hope to obtain more playing time following the move, with Saunders praising him for his contributions.
