Miami Heat secure a play-off spot with a 99-93 win over the Philadelphia 76ers.

Miami Heat have earned a play-off place after beating the Philadelphia 76ers 99-93.

Two-time MVP LeBron James scored a season-high 41 points, including 14 consecutive baskets in the fourth quarter.

The victory was the 16th straight home win for the Heat, who have now defeated the 76ers in their last 11 regular-season games.

Mario Chalmers, who also picked up his 1,000th career assist, scored 19 points.

Chris Bosh racked up 17 points and Udonis Haslem grabbed 11 rebounds for Miami.

Evan Turner was the highest point-scorer for the 76ers with 26.
