Oklahoma City Thunder forward Kevin Durant has admitted that his side are excited for the return of center Serge Ibaka.
The 26-year-old missed the final 18 matches of last season as he underwent arthroscopic surgery on his knee, which resulted in his side narrowly missing out on the playoffs.
However, Ibaka has now returned to the court and Durant believes that his side will benefit greatly in their defensive play because of his presence.
"It just adds a different dynamic for us," Durant told reporters. "It makes us a little bit more long and athletic. He's one of the best shot-blockers in the league.
"The most athletic two-way player for his position."
The Thunder open their campaign against the San Antonio Spurs on October 28.
