Oklahoma City Thunder shooting guard DeAndre Liggins has been arrested in Oklahoma City following a complaint over an incident involving a dangerous weapon.
The 25-year-old is accused of domestic abuse with a dangerous weapon and domestic assault in the presence of a minor, with both incidents reported to have taken place on Saturday, according to Oklahoma County Sheriff's Office records.
"We are aware of the situation and take this matter seriously," Thunder general manager Sam Presti said in an official statement from the team.
"We are in the process of gathering more information and have no further comment at this time."
Liggins played 39 games for the Thunder last season, averaging just 1.5 points-per-game.
Oklahoma's training camp begins later this month ahead of the start of the new campaign in October.
