George Karl has insisted that his focus is on winning an NBA title after becoming the new head coach of the Sacramento Kings.
The 63-year-old was officially unveiled as the new coach on Monday following a stint as an ESPN analyst, and he is confident of bringing success to a team which currently has an 18-34 record.
"I've missed the gym and I love the game," Karl, who was named NBA Coach of the Year in 2013 at the end of his final season with the Denver Nuggets, told reporters. "I wanted one more shot to try to win a championship.
"I think there's enough talent on this team to win games, enough talent to come back and connect with one another in a way that you can be a solid to good basketball team night in and night out.
"It will take some time."
The Kings, who are on course for a ninth straight losing season, have not reached the playoffs since 2006.
