Marcin Gortat has claimed that the Washington Wizards feel like they can play more freely on the road than at home.
The Wizards beat the Chicago Bulls 102-88 on Monday night to claim their 10th win of the season and Gortat believes there are too many distractions for the side when they host teams at the Verizon Center.
"We just play more freely," the 29-year-old told reporters. "We can focus in the hotel. In the locker room, we're just sitting in one little room and trying to get ready for the game.
"I don't know, at home there's just too many rooms, too many places where you can go. Too many places where you can dance and sing."
