Bulgaria's Tervel Pulev has defeated Argentina's Yamil Peralta to advance to the semi-finals of the heavyweight tournament.
The first round was an even contest, although Peralta was the man who was taking the fight to his opponent.
Pulev managed to soak up the Argentine's pressure and landed with more scoring shots to get his nose in front at the conclusion of the second round.
The proceedings has been disrupted in the second round when the referee was distracted by a whistle in the crowd.
Peralta tired dramatically in the third and could not muster the energy to get himself back into the fight.
The Bulgarian took a 13-10 verdict.
