Iran's Ehsan Rouzbahani has advanced to the next round of the Olympic light heavyweight tournament thanks to a six-point triumph over Turkey's Bahram Muzaffer.
The fight started well with both men finding the target early on. Rouzbahani produced the better work, which was underlined by the judges' 5-4 scoring.
The second round became a bit scrappy as accuracy went out ofthe window. Any shots that did connect seemed to glance off the headguards.
There was a definite shift in momentum as Muzaffer gained the upper hand and levelled the score heading into the decider.
Rouzbahani dug deep and found something extra in the final round. He upped his work rate and Muzaffer was struggling to cope with the sudden injection of pace.
The judges believed that the Iranian had won the round by nine points to three, giving him an 18-12 victory.
