Matchroom Sport promoter Eddie Hearn has held discussions with former world heavyweight champion Shannon Briggs as the American looks to secure a major fight in England.
Earlier this week, Briggs travelled to the United Kingdom to try to meet with David Haye, who is still to announce an opponent for May 21 at London's O2 Arena, but it appears that an appearance in Glasgow on May 28 is more likely.

Briggs's long-term aim is to secure a showdown with either Haye, Anthony Joshua or Tyson Fury, but in exclusive footage provided by IFL TV, Hearn suggested that the 44-year-old should build a profile in England on his shows.
The former WBO title holder has put together eight wins since returning from a four-year hiatus, but he has so far failed to secure a high-profile bout as he looks to work his way towards another shot at a world title.
