Matchroom Sport promoter Eddie Hearn has revealed that European super-bantamweight champion Carl Frampton will now be represented by Frank Warren Promotions.
Frampton has moved to the brink of a world title opportunity under Hearn, but the promoter has said that he envisaged a "potential conflict of interest" with the Northern Irishman's manager Barry McGuigan in the future.
In a statement, Hearn said: "We have enjoyed our time working with Carl Frampton as promoter of his boxing career. However, after the success of the last Frampton fight, we were informed by Barry McGuigan that he wanted to be joint promoter in future Frampton fights.
"While we had no problem whatsoever in agreeing purses for Carl Frampton, we felt that such a relationship with Barry McGuigan represented a potential conflict of interest with Barry's role as Carl's manager, and we could therefore not agree to be involved on this basis.
"Matchroom Sport and I wish Carl every success in his future boxing career."
The 26-year-old is scheduled to make his first appearance at a Frank Warren event on July 20 at Wembley Arena.
