Carl Frampton is considering ending his partnership with manager Barry McGuigan after a deterioration in their working relationship, according to a report.
The 30-year-old is said to have grown upset by the late postponement of his bout with Andres Gutierrez on July 29 when weighing in one pound overweight.
Frampton and McGuigan apologised at the time, but BBC Sport reports that there has been a serious breakdown behind the scenes and the pair are close to parting ways.
The fight between the Northern Irishman and Gutierrez was still scheduled to go ahead, until the Mexican slipped in a shower and injured his shoulder, with plans to find a new date recently being scrapped.
Frampton, named boxer of the year in 2016 by Ring Magazine, has been under the guidance of McGuigan since 2009.
