Floyd Mayweather Jnr has announced that he will be facing Marcos Maidana in his next fight on May 3.
The unbeaten 'Money' was reportedly close to signing a deal with Amir Khan, although Mayweather has now revealed that he will be squaring off against Maidana later this year.
"I will be fighting Marcos Maidana May 3rd on Pay-per-view Showtime/CBS" Mayweather posted on his Twitter page.
Mayweather's professional record is 45-0, with his last win coming in impressive fashion against Saul Alvarez last year.
