Manny Pacquiao has told Floyd Mayweather Jr that they can't "drop the ball" in their attempts to make the most lucrative match in boxing in 2015.
A showdown between the two men widely regarded as the best in the sport has been touted for some time, but issues with television contracts and random drug testing have prevented a deal ever being reached.
However, both men have recently stated their desire to go toe-to-toe in Las Vegas on May 2, and before the turn of the year, Pacquiao made one final call for the American to face him in the spring.
The ball will drop at midnight to usher in 2015. @FloydMayweather let's not drop the ball on fighting each other next year! #LetsMakeFistory

Pacquiao's tweet will be of interest to Amir Khan, who has frequently stated that he would welcome a fight with either man.
