Carl Froch has claimed that Nottingham Forest's City Ground is the most likely venue for his fight with George Groves.
Earlier this month, it was confirmed that the British duo would meet for a second time following Froch's controversial ninth-round victory back in November.
The Etihad Stadium, Old Trafford and London's O2 Arena had all been touted as potential hosts for the bout, but Froch took to Twitter last night to reveal that it is likely to be held in his hometown.
Just got off the phone with @EddieHearn & the waiting is nearly over. City Ground is now the front runner. @Official_NFFC let's do this.

The fight will take place on May 31.
