Russia's super-heavyweight Gasan Gimbatov has been taken to hospital following his defeat to Joe Joyce in this evening's final at the European Games.
The Great Britain boxer, who achieved first-round knockouts in his opening two fights in Baku, beat Gimbatov 3-0 to clinch gold at Crystal Hall earlier today.
However, the Russian was not present at the ceremony to collect his silver medal after being sent for precautionary tests at a nearby hospital.
Medical manager at the venue Gunay Ibrahimov told reporters: "We sent the boxer to hospital for examination by a neurologist for possible head trauma and concussion."
Tony Yoka of France and Azerbaijani Mahammadrasul Majidov shared bronze in the 91kg event.
